What this portal is
Mobi Health Portal is an independent mobile website that curates and presents information about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research — including policy updates, project highlights, learning materials, and community news.
It is designed for quick reading on phones and tablets, with clear navigation and readable typography. All content lives on this subdomain; there are no redirects to external organisation websites.
Community focus
Everything published here centres Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives on health and wellbeing. Topics include community-controlled research, Indigenous Data Sovereignty, climate and health, workforce development, and culturally safe care.
We aim to make research information accessible to community members, students, and practitioners who may not have time to navigate larger desktop sites.
Current priorities
The portal highlights four interconnected themes:
- Community-led research — grant news, project summaries, and knowledge translation resources.
- Indigenous Data Sovereignty — guides on community control of health data.
- Policy and advocacy — briefs on climate, cultural determinants, and genomics.
- Capability building — scholarships, learning modules, and mentoring content via the Learning Hub.
