Background
Mobi Health Portal’s International Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Conference (Mobi Health Conference 2027) is a biennial event attracting a global audience committed to sharing knowledge for the health and wellbeing of Indigenous peoples and communities from around the world. It is a space for sharing innovative ideas and transformational research grounded in our ways of knowing, being and doing.
Call for artists
We are seeking submissions from First Nations artists who have a connection to Larrakia Country, in the Northern Territory, to create a work that engages stakeholders and participants in the promotion and delivery of the Mobi Health Conference 2027.
Our conference artwork is a prominent feature of our conference and a chance to showcase your work to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and international Indigenous health research sector.

Artist guidelines
The successful artist will produce a visual art piece that represents Mobi Health Portal’s 5th International Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Conference 2027. Our theme will be centered on celebrating 30 years of Mobi Health Portal and honouring our conference hosts, the Larrakia people.
How the artwork will be used
The final artwork will be used in all forms of digital and print promotion of the 2027 conference including the conference website, social media, event theming, signage, banners, and other conference items (not for sale).
The artwork may be used in full and in part but will not be altered to ensure that the artwork (in full or in part) remains original.

The artist will provide the following information in their submission:
- Full name
- Language group or mob
- Connection to Larrakia Country in Northern Territory
- A brief description (story) of your artistic approach (250 words)
- Examples of your previous work, and how you have met design requirements
- An approximate quote to produce an artwork to represent Mobi Health Portal’s 5th International Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Conference 2027
- Confirmation that you understand the summary of the key terms that will be included in the Agreement
How to submit your artwork

| Provide a quote | The quote must include the following information: – Brief description of the artwork – Scope of work from concept to delivery, including number of included revisions, and in accordance with the key terms of the Agreement – Deliverables and key milestones (see key dates) – Fee (exclusive of GST if registered) – Credits and attributions |
| Artist portfolio | Please submit your portfolio or previous artwork, design concepts and assets. Include links to websites and social media accounts. |
| Timeline | Please provide an estimated timeline for submission of final artwork. |

Note:
- The successful artist will be required to work with the Mobi Health Portal to ensure artwork meets all design and printing specification requirements
- The successful artist will be required to submit original final artwork in a vector format – Adobe Illustrator File (.ai or.eps)
